Sweet Anthem - Kathleen

On paper Kathleen should be a scent I really like, but in reality it's just ok.

The mixture from the Sweet Anthem site is , kumquat, lavender, petit grain, sandalwood, spearmint, and ylang ylang

I don't usually go to check the scents until after I form an idea in my head about what is in the fragrance I'm trying. But today I couldn't get any idea of what was in this. When I choose my samples I read the descriptions and then put them out of my mind.
So what I smell is woody lavender. Ylang ylang is a great scent probably the reason I chose this sample, but I'm not smelling any of it.
